Quick Fact: One of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Garth Brooks[/lastfm]‘ top songs,“Shameless,” is actually a cover of a [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Billy Joel[/lastfm] song! Billy has always said he is honored that someone was able to take a song of his and do well with it.  While Billy is honored with this, Garth is honored that Billy would have him sing the song during the Last Play at Shea!

Garth is going to be featured on the CD/DVD (or Blu-Ray) combo of The Last Play at Shea while Billy was there in 2008.  Billy really enjoyed playing at Shea Stadium because he felt it was “rock music’s first great arena venue.” He held two shows there, the latter being the last concert ever held at the stadium.  The shows were recorded in full and will be available tomorrow, March 8!  Check out when Garth made his appearance to sing “Shameless”:
