The nationwide average in 2010 was $2.52 per tooth, an 18% increase from a year earlier. That’s the word from the annual Tooth Fairy Poll conducted by Delta Dental of Minnesota, which points to the busy fairies as proof the economy is gradually improving. ?
84% of parents surveyed reported that the Tooth Fairy visits their home.
Tooth Fairy monetary gifts ranged from one penny to $100.
86% of parents surveyed reported that the state of the economy has not impacted Tooth Fairy giving in their household.
