Besides getting married and getting un-married the Simpson sisters, Ashlee and Jessica, haven’t really been doing much of anything lately. Well, that’s all about to change, Women’s Wear Daily and PEOPLE are reporting that the Simpson ladies are launching their own tween targeted clothing line.
Jessica already has one line aimed at adults, but told Women’s Wear Daily, “Creating a tween apparel collection was a natural extension for the brand. I’m excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today’s tweens.”
For her part, Ashlee told WWD, “My goal as co-creative director will be to design clothes that will help inspire young girls to express their personalities and creativity through fashion.”
Now tween girls all over this great nation can get their ditsy rocker chick on. I guess we can all be thankful it’s not the Kardashian sisters launching a mini-me clothing line.
