Here’s some Preakness news, we bet you didn’t know about this.  Olympic athletes in the Infield Saturday ..

The National Volleyball League will host its first event of the season, a two-day $50,000 tournament, at Pimlico Race Course infield May 18 and May 19. Olympic Gold medalists Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers will make their 2012 domestic debut Preakness Day.  These gold medalists will be here along other 2012 Summer Olympic contenders Jen Kessy and April Ross.

Let the games begin at 8:00 a.m. Friday, May 18 at Baltimore Beach, the infield at Pimlico and it will run all day.  InfieldFest will set the stage for the volleyball finals at Pimlico on Saturday, May 19 with the Men’s final at 2:00 p.m. and the Women’s final at 3:30 p.m
