Reporting Fran Lane
The architectural detail in Baltimore’s Bolton Hill is incredible. The master craftmen’s handiwork is abundantly evident in the public buildings, churches, and townhouses throughout the neighborhood. I love to spot the incredible windows, detailed iron work, stonework, and extravagant building flourishes that are so missing on today’s buildings. With its well-preserved 19th century architecture, it’s no wonder Bolton Hill is on the National Register of Historic Places.
