As two distressed girls in Katy Perry-styled purple wigs scream and cry into their hands, Perry is showed as being amused. As she lowers her sunglasses and laughs, we can’t help but wonder what exactly is she being so smug about?
In a YouTube video titled “Roar – Burning Baby Blue” she lights her blue wig on fire.
Even though Perry has been plotting to show us her dark side for some time now, she may have gotten license to go even darker with that seismic shift in her personal life.
The singer got inventive when it came to announcing her new album, Prism which drops October 22. Instead of putting out a formal press release, she got a truck to do the talking.
“I kind of went on a cleanse…I did a lot of things like vitamins and supplements, I changed my coffee to green tea, I didn’t drink any alcohol for three months,” Perry said.
John Mayer’s summer is gearing up to be a busy one. Currently on the road for his Born and Raised World Tour, Mayer announced today (July 16) that his sixth studio album Paradise Valley will drop August 20.
Named after the Queen song from 1974, Perry told the mag that the lyrics spoke to her when she was a teenager and still inspire her today.
